Graduate fellow Tim Loh has been awarded a 2021 International Dissertation Research Fellowship from the Social Science Research Council for his project, “Assistive Technologies for Deaf People in Jordan: Entanglements of Language, Religion, and Disability.” Shortly after, Tim also won a RAI/Sutasoma Award for dissertation fieldwork through the Emslie Horniman Fund of the Royal Anthropological Institute.
